Phillip Martinez
Phillip Martinez, 53, was found unconscious in a housing unit at the Denver city jail on May 16, 2024, and later died at a nearby hospital. The Denver Office of the Medical Examiner said the cause of death was choking on food. The manner of death has not been stated by the medical examiner. Martinez was held at the jail when he died.
