Phillip Hardy
Phillip Hardy, 55, died on February 4, 2018, while held at the East Arkansas Regional Unit, a state prison in Brickeys. Correctional officers found him unconscious in his single-person cell on a Sunday night, and he was taken to the prison infirmary, where he was pronounced dead. The Arkansas State Police reported that what appeared to be K-2 was found in his property, but the cause of death has not been established. The Arkansas Department of Correction said its internal review of the death is ongoing.
