Phillip Brummett
Phillip Eugene Brummett, 68, was held at the Harris County Jail in Texas. The sheriff's office, which runs the jail, said he had a medical emergency there on June 19, 2025, and that he died at Ben Taub Hospital on the night of June 22, 2025. Another account gives July 13, 2025 as his date of death. Houston police and the sheriff's internal affairs division are investigating, and the manner of death is pending an autopsy.
