Phil Rainsbarger

Phil Rainsbarger was being held in the Hardin County jail at Eldora, Iowa, on June 4, 1885. According to a 1915 newspaper account, a mob took him and his brother Manse from the jail. The account says both men were shot and their bodies were hung from a tree.
