Peter Fred Hernandez, 60, died at Tyger River Correctional Facility in Enoree, South Carolina, on May 11, 2023. The Spartanburg County Coroner's Office said he died at 6:33 a.m. and that the cause and manner of death were pending. The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division was working with the coroner's office on the investigation, and a forensic autopsy and toxicology analysis were scheduled for the following day.
