Perry Edward Smith
Perry Smith was put to death by hanging at the Kansas State Penitentiary in Lansing, Kansas, on April 14, 1965. He was executed alongside Richard Hickock on the prison's original gallows. He was one of the men executed at the penitentiary between 1944 and 1965, a period the Lansing Kansas history site records. The Kansas City Star's 2025 account also reports the execution.
