Pedro Junior Ornelas III
Pedro Junior Ornelas III, 27, died at UCSD Medical Center on June 28, 2023, after the San Diego County Sheriff's Department said he was found unresponsive in his cell at the San Diego Central Jail. The Sheriff's Department said its Homicide Unit is investigating and that the Medical Examiner's Office will determine the cause and manner of death. The department said it extended condolences to his family and assigned a family liaison officer to support them.
