Pedro Arias

Pedro Arias, 58, died on August 9, 2020, while held on death row at San Quentin State Prison in California, according to KTVU. The Mercury News reported that he died at an outside hospital and that his official cause of death was still listed as pending, with COVID-19 suspected as a factor. KTVU attributed his death to coronavirus, and the Death Penalty Information Center reported that he died from the virus during the outbreak at the prison.
