Paul Martinez
Paul Martinez, 56, was held at Donovan prison in California. Over six days he had shortness of breath, fever and coughing, and he was not diagnosed with COVID-19 until he reached a hospital with shallow breathing. He died during a winter outbreak at the prison. Medical examiner records show he was not tested for the virus before he was taken to the hospital.
