Paul Lee Green, 36, was held at the Allen County Jail in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and one account says he had been there since August 8, 2024. Sources report that staff found him unresponsive in his cell during a morning check on August 16, but they differ on where he died, with one saying at the jail and another at Lutheran Hospital. The Allen County Coroner's Office said peritonitis, an infection of the abdominal lining, caused his death, and an autopsy classified the manner as natural.
