Paul Duran Jr.
Paul Duran Jr., 23, was found dead in his cell at the Oklahoma State Penitentiary in McAlester at about 10 p.m. on March 11, 2009, according to prison officials. Department of Corrections spokesman Jerry Massie said he was beaten to death by his cellmate, who punched and kicked him. Investigators believe the cellmate was responsible, and the cellmate was moved to segregated housing. The findings were to go to the district attorney, who would decide what happens next.
