Paul David Crews
Paul Crews, 70, died at SCI Fayette, a Pennsylvania state prison in Fayette County, while in the custody of the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections. The state's death-in-custody reporting lists his death as natural causes and gives the date as July 9, 2022, while PennLive gives July 6, 2022. PennLive reported that he had no next of kin listed and that no relatives could be found, so the department had his remains cremated. The prison held a memorial service for him in its chapel, which other incarcerated people could attend.
