Paul Arthur Heimark
Paul Arthur Heimark, 66, died on June 26, 2023, at Alvarado Hospital while in San Diego County Sheriff's custody. According to the sheriff's department, he had medical issues identified at booking and was taken directly to the hospital after intake, and he was never housed in a detention facility. Lt. Joseph Jarjura said the Sheriff's Homicide Unit is investigating and that the Medical Examiner's Office will determine the cause and manner of death, which remain pending.
