Paul Abeyta
Paul George Abeyta, 50, died on May 1, 2020, while held at the Jefferson County jail. The sheriff's office said he had been housed in a medical unit and died in his cell. The sheriff's office said an investigation is ongoing and that the coroner will determine the cause and manner of death. A later Colorado Politics article lists his death among recent deaths of people held at the jail.
