Patryk Lankamer
Patryk Lankamer, 20, was held at the Elgin Police Department lockup in Elgin, Illinois, from January 20, 2023. He was found unresponsive in his cell on January 22, 2023, and was pronounced dead. The Kane County Coroner's Office ruled his death an accident, caused by cocaine and fentanyl intoxication. The Kane County State's Attorney said officers acted properly.
