Patrick McHugh
Patrick McHugh, 55, died in his cell at the Ramsey County Jail in St. Paul on Friday, August 20, 2010. A correctional officer found him during a welfare check. The Ramsey County Sheriff's Office said early indications pointed to asphyxia through self-strangulation, and said he had been taken off suicide watch on July 27 on a psychologist's advice. A sheriff's spokesman declined to classify the manner of death, and St. Paul police and the medical examiner's office were investigating.
