Patrick Kranda
Patrick Kranda, 61, of Edgerton, was held at the Rock County Jail in Janesville. On the morning of Friday, September 8, 2023, a security check found him unresponsive in a housing unit, according to the sheriff's office. He was taken to a local hospital, where he later died. An autopsy was performed, and the Rock County Medical Examiner's office said his cause of death was unknown pending toxicology results. The sheriff's office opened an investigation, and the state Department of Corrections was to review the death.
