Patrice Latoya Watson McFadden
Patrice McFadden died on January 3, 2020, after being held at the W. Glenn Campbell Detention Center in Darlington County, South Carolina. The Darlington County Sheriff's Office said she had a medical episode in her cell and was taken by county EMS to an area hospital, where she died. The sheriff's office did not release her name or details of the medical issue at first, and Coroner Todd Hardee later identified her and said an autopsy was scheduled. The coroner's office and the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division are investigating, and no cause of death has been announced.
