Pakastan Algier Gary
Pakastan Algier Gary, 45, was held at Sussex I State Prison in Virginia. The Virginia Department of Corrections said he was critically injured in his cell by his cellmate on the morning of August 21, 2019, in what it called an apparent fight between people in custody. Prison officials said he was taken to Southside Regional Medical Center, where he died that evening. Officials said the cellmate is a suspect and that an investigation is underway.
