Oscar Wilkie Jr.

Oscar Wilkie Jr., 52, was held in a holding cell at the Rolette County Jail in North Dakota, and died on April 14, 2018. His daughter, Danielle Wilkie, keeps his ashes on her dresser at home. The autopsy listed a methamphetamine overdose as the cause of death. A state investigation found that jail staff did not complete the required medical clearance before he was placed in the cell.
