Oscar Umulxicay
Oscar Umulxicay, 22, was held at the Elmwood Correctional Facility in Milpitas, California. On January 27, 2025, a deputy doing a welfare check found him unconscious with severe head injuries in a dormitory-style living space, and he was taken to hospital for surgery. The Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office said he died of injuries from an attack by other people held at the jail, and that suspects had been identified.
