Omar Ali
Omar Ali, of Ramapara, died in Barpeta District Jail on December 2, 2022. His body was taken to the morgue of Barpeta Medical College Hospital. According to Barpeta police, the cause of death had not been revealed, and police registered a case alleging the death was unnatural and opened an investigation. A later report on his death described him as a resident of Alapati Char who died suddenly in Barpeta jail, without giving a cause.
