Norah Horwitz
Norah Horwitz, 38, died on April 6, 2025, while held at the Virginia Beach Correctional Center, according to the Virginia Beach Sheriff's Office. The sheriff's office said a deputy found her during a routine security check around 6 p.m., and that she was declared dead around 6:40 p.m. The sheriff's office said she had received a full medical and mental health screening at intake, and it has described her death as a suicide. The medical examiner has not yet determined the official cause and manner of death.
