Noah Meniman

Noah Merriman was hanged at Belleville, Illinois, on January 15, 1886, in a judicial execution. He was Black, and the Narragansett Herald reported his death on January 23, 1886. The Abbeville Press and Banner printed a short notice of the hanging on February 3, 1886.
