Nicole Lemke
Nicole Lemke, 29, of Janesville, was held at the Rock County Jail in Janesville, Wisconsin. She was found unresponsive in her cell in the early morning of February 2, 2023, during a security check, and was pronounced dead after paramedics attempted lifesaving measures. The Dane and Rock County medical examiner's office initially ruled her death an accident, and the sheriff's office investigated it as an overdose. A later report said the cause remained undetermined while toxicology results from the State Crime Lab were still pending.
