Nicole Kerri Morris, 34, of Baker City, was found dead in her cell at the Malheur County Jail in Ontario, Oregon, on the morning of November 13, 2023. The Malheur County Sheriff's Office said it asked an outside agency to lead the investigation to avoid conflicts of interest.
