Nicolas Jackson
Nicolas Jackson, 30, was found unresponsive in his cell at the Clayton County jail in Georgia about three days after he was taken there in October 2018. His father, Trenton Brinson, said his son had no health problems he knew of and was full of joy when they spoke days before he was taken into custody. Months later, Brinson said the family had received no explanation from the jail or sheriff's office and did not know how his son died. The sheriff's office said it could not comment because the Georgia Bureau of Investigation was looking into the death, but the GBI told the station it had no record of such an investigation.
