Nelson

Nelson was held at the jail at Varner, Arkansas, a railway station about twenty miles south of Pine Bluff. On the early morning of November 14, 1893, according to the Associated Press, a mob broke into the jail, took him from it and killed him. The Associated Press reported that his body was afterward burned.
