Nathen Bennett
Nathen Bennett, 23, died at the Monroe Correctional Complex in Washington on February 28, 2015. The Washington Department of Corrections said he died by suicide, and that he was found hanging in his cell in the Special Offender Unit, which houses people with mental illness. The department's account of his manner of death is its own claim. He was one of three people who died by suicide in Washington prisons in the first three months of 2015.
