Nathaniel S. Bates

Nathaniel Bites was hanged at Richmond, Indiana, on Thursday, August 26, 1886, the first execution there in 64 years, according to the Semi-Weekly Interior Journal. A later roundup of that year's executions lists a Nathaniel S. Bates hanged at Richmond in August 1886.
