Nathaniel Durán
Nathaniel Durán, 23, of Taos, died on January 21, 2008, at the New Mexico State Penitentiary in Santa Fe, where he was held. Deputy warden Joni Brown said he had hanged himself with a bed sheet in his maximum-security cell during an early-morning count. Paramedics pronounced him dead at 5 a.m.
