Nathaniel Bryan Taylor
Nathaniel Bryan Taylor, 32, was held at South Mississippi Correctional Institution in Leakesville, Mississippi. According to the Mississippi Department of Corrections, he was taken by ambulance to Greene County Hospital on July 22, 2020, and pronounced dead in the emergency room. The department said it was investigating and an autopsy was planned; no cause of death has been reported. One outlet noted this was at least the 54th Mississippi state prison death since late December, and the state's prisons are under a U.S. Justice Department investigation.
