Nathan Johnson
Nathan Johnson, 45, of Vernon, died on June 5, 2025, while in the custody of the Shiawassee County Jail. The Shiawassee County Sheriff's Office said a deputy found him unresponsive in a cell shower area. The sheriff's office said he was pronounced dead at the scene. The sheriff's office said the cause and manner of his death are pending and that it is investigating the circumstances.
