Murat Dalmizrak died on August 1, 2024, while held at the Brazoria County Detention Center in Texas. According to Hoodline, he was found unresponsive in the facility and died at a hospital. The Texas Rangers are leading the investigation into his death. The sheriff's office said it is cooperating with that investigation.
