Morris "Mel" Goldberg
Morris "Mel" Goldberg, 89, died on April 22, 2020, at Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland, a day after he was taken there from Coyote Ridge Corrections Center in Connell, where he was held. He had been in prison for about two decades. Janelle Guthrie, a spokeswoman for the state Department of Corrections, said he tested negative for COVID-19 and that the department would review his death.
