Montavius Banks
Montavius Banks was 31 and held at Limestone Correctional Facility in Harvest. On June 6, 2025, he was attacked with a weapon by another man held at the prison and severely injured. He was taken to a hospital, where he died, according to the Alabama Department of Corrections, which said the other man had been charged.
Cause of death, as reported: Killed by another person in custody. The Alabama Department of Corrections says another inmate assaulted him with a weapon after an argument.
