Mondo we Langa was 68 years old and had been treated for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease since 2013, according to the Atlanta Black Star. He died around midnight on Saturday, March 12, 2016, at the Nebraska State Penitentiary in Lincoln, the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services said through spokesman Andrew Nystrom. The department said the cause of death had not been determined and that an investigation was pending.
