Mockber

In April 1877, according to a dispatch from Clarksville, Tennessee, Mockber was taken from the jail at Dover by a party of armed men and hanged. The dispatch reports that eight shots were also fired into his body. He was held at the Dover jail when the men took him. The account gives no further details about his life or family.
