Mitchell Julio Morris, 25, died on February 5, 2021, in the infirmary at Snake River Correctional Institution near Ontario, Oregon, according to the Oregon Department of Corrections. The department said it does not release causes or manners of death for people in its custody, and that COVID-19 is unlikely because it typically names people who die of the virus. The Oregon State Police was notified, as is standard procedure.
