Mischael Wilson
Mischael Wilson, 27, of Mount Vernon, died on May 28, 2019, at Westchester Medical Center. According to the Westchester County Department of Correction, officials found she had tried to take her own life while in custody, three days before her death. County officials said her death was the second apparent suicide by a person in their custody that year. They said spiritual care providers were in contact with her family and with staff and people held in the jail who were affected by her death.
