Mindy Dawn Tidwell
Mindy Dawn Tidwell, 39, was from Jasper, Alabama. In 2019 she suffered what officials described as a medical emergency in the booking area of the Walker County Jail, and she was pronounced dead on arrival at Walker Baptist Memorial. Court documents later showed that two other people held at the jail were charged only with misdemeanor assault for striking her in the head and face. The State Bureau of Investigation looked into her death.
