Miles Phifer
Miles Phifer was a man killed about five miles from Montgomery, Alabama, in an event a 1919 report described as a lynching. According to that report, he had been held by county officials, who released him and told him to run. Masked men then fired on him, according to the same account. The death is reported only in that newspaper account.
