Miguel Bustillos, 43, was found dead in a housing unit at the Downtown Detention Center in Denver around 6 a.m. on February 8, 2025. The Denver Office of the Medical Examiner identified him and completed an autopsy, but the cause of death remains under investigation. Police said the death is not being investigated as a crime, and the Department of Safety is conducting a standard administrative review.
