Micky Ray Cage
Micky Ray Cage, 55, died on May 3, 2023, while held at Salinas Valley State Prison in California, according to the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. The department said he was found unresponsive in his cell on death row and pronounced dead at 7:30 a.m. He had been on death row for about 20 years. The department said the cause of death was unknown and referred the case to the Monterey County Coroner's Office for investigation.
