Michelle Rutter was 57 when she died at Dauphin County Prison in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, on February 5, 2015. Prison officials said she died of natural causes, specifically hemorrhagic gastritis, a condition that causes bleeding in the stomach. WITF reported on her death in July 2019.
