Michael Williams
Michael Williams, 59, died at the Oklahoma County Detention Center in Oklahoma City on January 5, 2021. The jail said in a news release that he was found unresponsive in his cell shortly before 7:30 p.m. and was pronounced dead at the scene by EMSA, and that he did not have a cellmate. The jail said it is investigating the death, and the manner and cause of death remain pending. A February 2021 report named him among six people who had died at the Oklahoma County Jail since mid-December 2020, but gave no further details about his death.
