Michael Wayne Haywood
Michael Wayne Haywood died on April 13, 2020, while held in the custody of the Bowie County Jail in Texas, according to the Texas Office of the Attorney General's custodial death report. A Texarkana Today report said Bowie County deputies had taken him to the Bi-State jail in Texarkana early that morning, where he was found unresponsive, and that CPR and emergency medical efforts did not succeed. The Texas Rangers are investigating the death, and no cause or manner has been established.
