Michael Torivio

Michael Torivio, 48, died on September 6, 2023, at the Bernalillo County Metropolitan Detention Center in Albuquerque, where he was being held. The county said he was pronounced dead that morning. The Office of the Medical Investigator is working to determine the cause of death. The center's Office of Professional Standards and the Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office are also investigating his death.
