Michael Theron Moore, 41, died on December 22, 2021, at the Clay County Jail in Green Cove Springs, Florida. According to a news report, he was found unresponsive inside a dormitory in the afternoon and was pronounced dead. The Clay County Sheriff's Office said it believes his death was not related to any use of force. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement has taken over the investigation into his death.
