Michael Stroda
Michael Stroda, 50, of Bay Point, collapsed during a seizure and fell into a diabetic coma while held at the Contra Coasta County Jail in Martinez in April 2009. He spent about a month on life support at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center and never regained consciousness. He died on May 11, 2009, and the Contra Costa Coroner's Office said the death appeared to be natural and requested his health records. The sheriff's office said it would conduct an inquest.
